Predicting the 2016 Packers Season

I took some time to look at the Packers 2016 schedule and I have to say, things are looking pretty good. I have gone through every game and given my prediction. I hate to do this because I hate to see casinos lose money and these picks are near locks.

Week 1

Green Bay Packers 20
Jacksonville Jaguars 16
The first couple games of the season are always tough. I think the the Jaguars will keep it close but they Pack will win in the end.

Week 2

Green Bay Packers 34
Minnesota Vikings 13
The Packers will ruin the opening of U.S. Bank Stadium and the home unveiling of Sam Bradford. On a bright spot for the Vikings, I think Bradford will only throw 3 interceptions.

Week 3

Detroit Lions 6
Green Bay Packers 37
The Lions played the Packers tough in 2015 but 2016 will be a different story. No hail mary needed on this one.

Week 4

We will crush the shit out of the bye week this year.

Week 5

New York Giants 17
Green Bay Packers 35
Ben McAdoo will be familiar with the Packers so that will make this game tough but luckily Eli Manning will give us 4 interceptions to help seal the win.

Week 6

Dallas Cowboys 7
Green Bay Packers 41
I think this game could lead to the firing of Jason Garrett much like when we got Cowboys’ coach Wade Phillips fired in 2010.

Week 7

Chicago Bears 10
Green Bay Packers 30
Josh Sitton’s homecoming will be spoiled by his terrible quarterback, Jay Cutler. Packers cruise to a win on Thursday night.

Week 8

Green Bay Packers 30
Atlanta Falcons 23
Atlanta may catch the Packers sleeping a bit but luckily a late touchdown keeps the Packers undefeated season alive.

Week 9

Indianapolis Colts 24
Green Bay Packers 38
The Colts will keep it close early but big Eddie Lacy will get it going in the second half.

Week 10

Green Bay Packers 63
Tennessee Titans 5
I will be at this game which will give the Packers a little extra motivation and they will harness the power of #beardmode in Nashville.

Week 11

Green Bay Packers 45
Washington Redskins 20
Washington D.C., already living in horror of the newly elected President moving in soon will have salt thrown in their wounds when the Packers destroy them.

Week 12

Green Bay Packers 31
Philadelphia Eagles 16
I hate to do this to Doug Pederson but his rookie quarterback is no match for this Packers defense.

Week 13

Houston Texans 13
Green Bay Packers 38
The Texans and they’re Super Bowl winning quarterback, Brock Osweiler, will not be ready for December football in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Week 14

Seattle Seahawks 20
Green Bay Packers 28
The Seahawks will the Packers their biggest home test of the season but thankfully that choke artist, Russell Wilson, will blow the game for the Hawks.

Week 15

Green Bay Packers 37
Chicago Bears 12
Luckily for Bears fans, their team will have been eliminated from playoff contention long before this game so losing it won’t hurt that much and will actually help the draft position.

Week 16

Minnesota Vikings 15
Green Bay Packers 48
Sure, the Vikings will get crushed but at least Blair Walsh can make all of his field goals, which is something he couldn’t say in their last playoff game.

Week 17

Green Bay Packers 31
Detroit Lions 23
With home field advantage clinched, the Packers have nothing to play for in this game but they’ll still win behind Brett Hundley or Joe Callahan.

Final Record 16-0
